Cookies and localStorage are different
A cookie is a small value that a browser can send with requests to a website. localStorage is browser storage available to scripts on the same site; it is not automatically sent with each page request. Both can be relevant to privacy rules, but neither is inherently an advertising technology.
The supplied site code does not set cookies. It uses localStorage only when you explicitly save the preference on this page. Your mobile menu state, technique tab selection and contact draft are not saved by this site.

Contact drafts, clipboard and downloads
The message tool holds draft text in the current page, not in the preference record. Copying places text on your device’s clipboard when permitted. Downloading saves a text file under your control. Clearing this site preference does not delete clipboard contents, downloaded files or emails you have sent.
Browser and hosting controls
You can use browser settings to inspect and clear cookies and other site data. Browser storage is specific to the device, browser profile and site origin, so a choice saved here does not automatically apply elsewhere. Ordinary hosting requests and possible security logs are described in the privacy notice.
